Louis L. Fenkell, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Fenkell is a staff radiation oncologist at Southlake Regional Health Centre and at Princess Margaret Hospital in Ontario. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Queen’s University and completed residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Fenkell is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, with affiliations to the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncologists and the American Society for Radiation.

Dr. Fenkell has received numerous awards and scholarships for his distinguished academic standing throughout his training. He is highly involved in clinical trials, predominantly focusing on genitourinary and breast malignancies. Dr. Fenkell is interested in investigating novel techniques and technologies in the treatment of prostate cancer that allow for improved cancer targeting and reduced side effects.

Dr. Fenkell has been an integral part of his community with involvement in many committees and programs. He is also the Cancer Care Ontario Radiation Oncology Prostate Cancer Champion for Central LHIN.
